Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins & milk, a perfect combination. It’s a tradition. I make these without fail the first day of Fall, every year. This year, we will be on a trip, so I decided to post my all time favorite recipe, early. The smell alone will make your house smell like the best bakery in town! The recipe is a family recipe from my Aunt Janee. Maegan, my cousin’s mom! (who btw, is about to pop with her first little baby anytime now…so exciting!)
Ingredients:
1 and 2/3 cup of all purpose flour
1 cup of sugar
1 tablespoon of pumpkin spice
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of baking powder
mix all of the above into one bowl
2 large eggs
1 cup of plain pumpkin (Libby’s)
1/2 cup of melted butter
1 cup of milk chocolate chips
mix this part into another bowl
Then mix both bowls together and spoon into muffin pan.
Bake on 350 degrees for 30 minutes

1 teaspoon of baking powder
mix all of the above into one bowl
2 large eggs
1 cup of plain pumpkin (Libby’s)

I think most of you know, usually I make & post a picture of my own creation here on the Nest. To be honest, the photo Sibi found does the perfect justice to these muffins, then my camera could ever do. Plus, I am not about to make these a few days before we leave…I alone would eat them all, just so they wouldn’t go to waste. So I am being strong & fighting the very strong temptation not to make & bake these. Many of my friends would vouch for this recipe…so many of us have spent a good time eating & laughing over these scrumptious muffins! I miss those sweet days!

Delish, I am making mine the first day of Fall too!!!
I need to try these. My husband loves pumpkin and would really enjoy. Thanks for sharing.
I can’t wait to make these muffins! I fear I will them all before my children get home from school!
You left a comment about the anthroplogie scarf. I bought mine in a store but they had it on their website. Under the picture I included the name of the item and if you click anywhere on the name it should take you right to it on their site.
Hope this helps! It’s a great buy and definitely worth it!
Have a great weekend!
These look beautiful and I bet they taste delicious. I am anxious to give them a try. Thanks for sharing. I would love for you to join me at diningwithdebbie.blogspot.com for Crock Pot Wednesday. Come check it out.
