Because many have asked about these sweet little shirts, I thought I would try to gather/take some pics, to show you just how easy it is to make! It is always a thrill for me to receive some love, questions, or comments especially on something I made. I think emails or comments are one of the highest compliments you can give & I love receiving them. So thanks for all those who have asked you made my week! *More on that email comment stuff on the next post.*
This little photo above was in this post a couple weeks back & what started all the emails. 4 supplies is all that you will need, and 5 minutes of your time. It is that easy! Scissors, trim, glue, & shirt.
Here it is. The rosette fabric tulle netting. They sell the rosette netting by the yard at Hobby Lobby. It is $5.99 a yard. If you sign up on their web page, you can get a coupon for 40% off.
While you are there, pick up some fabric glue. (The best stuff ever invented.) And of course, get whatever shirt you want to attach the rosette trim too. This one that I made today, for a gift – was $1.50 red tag @ Target. I kid you not! Shh. my neighbor might be reading this, her little girl is the soon to be owner of this pink on pink fluff!
If you have never used this glue, it is easy. It goes on white, but dries clear. Once I glue the rosette trim on the shirt(s) I hang up to dry for 24 hours before wearing. *read the directions on the back for wash instructions, pertaining to the glue.* I will also say, I only tumble dry these shirts for 10 minutes, then I take them out to hang dry. Just because the rosette trim *might* fray more then what it is already suppose to be. Trust me, the trim has held up nicely. And I have used alot of this trim.
Here is a pic of my & Madi’s {somewhat} matching shirts in thermal cotton. I love thermal! As you can see on Madi’s I made a cluster with the rosette trim. Endless possibilities, I tell ya!
And finally, here is the little rosette herself – with yes, a rosette hair clip & the now little {famous} heart shirt. She makes this stuff look even cuter – in my opinion.
Hello! I’m so glad you’re here & reading my posts! I’ve started truncating my posts, so please click over to read the rest of the story!

THANK YOU!

This is so cute and simple! And I have to tell you, you are DOIN’ IT UP with this blog design–I love what you’ve done.
What a great idea – easy and beautiful! Leigh
So I guess I have to make a trip to Hobby Lobby today, I thought you were my friend. You know you can’t inspire me this way and expect me to not dream about it every second until the supplies are in my hand and I am creating. I love all the versions, I am picuring a Mommy Daughter photo shoot for Sweet Daddy, shhh don’t tell. Thanks for this, I really do need to do something for the girls and Sweet Daddy because we had a trip planned for next week (Disney) but plans fell apart yesterday because of somethings going on around here, so now I am pressed to come up with things to out do Disney at a moments notice. So I think a cute shirt, a photo shoot, steak dinner and over the top dessert is the way I am going. Hope you guys have a great day.

i used the black rosette trim for a shirt for my sister in laws. i just hand tacked it on in a few places onto a target t-shirt. i love that you made a hear shape for a little girl!
You make me want a little girl….
You make it look so easy girl! They are adorable
How cute is that?! Your sweet girl is so cute! Thanks for sharing.
That is so easy and very cute! Thanks for sharing. I kind of hope my next grandchild is a girl so I can make some frilly, girly things. Not that I don’t adore my grandson! He’s the best. But a little girl all dressed in pink would be da bomb!
I love this! I used this stuff years ago and had forgotten about it. Thanks for reminding me about the sweet fluff! I love that you made one for you and your sweetheart to match. I love it!
The white is Rustoleum, and I don’t really remember what the black is. Over the years I’ve been refinishing I’ve found that opinions can really vary on the “best” stuff to use. Some people love Valspar, just like some only use Benjamin Moore. I was in the paint department at Home Depot and I asked the Behr rep about an oil-based “oops” paint that was on the shelf and he told me that “only old people use oil-based paint” and that “using a high-gloss gives you the same protection and finish.” From my experience that is DEFINITELY not true!
If I knew then what I know now about painting cabinets, I definitely would’ve done some different steps (or had them take different steps). If you ever need any help, email me!
Wow, these are so pretty. Love em!

Tumblr is super easy. Just go to tumblr.com
I had put off using tumblr because I thought it would be hard. It is super easy. You just follow their directions once you sign up for a free blog. I have a button now on my task bar thing (see how techy I am.) It says share on tumblr and I click it when I see something that I like and it automatically creates a new post for me. Im still learning but its pretty user friendly.
And yes. I love that table. I. must. have. one!
That is super cute!! I love it. Thanks for linking to Motivate me Monday

That trim is gorgeous!!! I never even knew it existed!! Thanks so much!
I love what you’ve done here. I have 2 little girls that would die for these shirts. I wish we had a Hobby Lobby close by! I used to live by one but in this town, they do not exist! It was the saddest day in my life when I realized there was no HL here!
That is so adorable. I am feeling left out that I don’t have a Hobby Lobby here!!!
Super cute.
BTW – I have a Maddie too!
Forgot to say thank you for linking up to Make it Yours day!
Another great project!

I don’t have a hobby lobby where I live do you have a link for the rosette fabric tulle netting so that I could order some online?
So dang cute! How have I missed the trim at Hobby Lobby?! Definitely on my list for the next time I go.
