Color is a wonderful thing. It can take you places instantly, soothe your heart, give beautiful inspiration, cheer a mood, or help recall memories.
As I type, I have robin egg’s blue, jelly bean pink, bark brown, & cream color paint on my hands ~ that doesn’t want to wash off. {most of it spray paint}
4 {almost 3}days till SPRING. I am so ready. I think tomorrow will be 7 days straight without any sun. I don’t do well without sun. I need it. My mood & energy level depends on it. I knew this afternoon when I was a little “short fused” that I needed to revive my mood. And for me, nothing can do it like color. Well, maybe food, but I’m trying desperately to pretend that salad is the only food option in the house. So I thought I would make my own Spring pastel palette home. One that would hopefully revive my mood, cheer me up, & soothe my sun missing heart!
So come on in, would ya!!!
Every house needs some fresh flowers in the biggest nest you can find. Wouldn’t you agree?
I think I could sit in this sunny spot all day. Isn’t it wonderful?
My kitchen would have to have these amazing pastel subway tiles!
Then we could sit & have tea. And make more of these amazing pastel sugar cubes!
Perhaps we could have our tea & cookies on the porch.
And in a perfect pastel home, there would have to be a pastel bedroom for a perfect afternoon nap.
And if the above doesn’t fix your craving for pastels or cheer your mood…then perhaps you should come & get your hands spray painted on as I did. While attempting to TOTALLY COPY Crafty Sisters!!!
Don’t look at my wreath. It is NOTHING in comparison to theirs. Trust me!!! In fact they made 3 gorgeous Easter wreaths.

I’m craving all kinds of pastels right now too-which is weird because Spring colors never used to appeal to me. Hope you make it through he cloudy days. I am the same way about needing the sun-thank goodness I get a lot of it in Cali!
I am laughing that you said you are pretending that salad is the only food option. Anyway I sure do hope you get some sun soon. I totally believe in weather related blues. I got them every year come JAn and FEb when I lived in SLC, UT because of the lack of sun.

That is one cutie of a wreath. You are makeing me long to paint Easter eggs and I promised myself I wouldn’t add that to the list of things to do this year. So if I end up doing it, it is all your fault and I will love you for it, because deep down I knew when I said that I wasn’t that it was going to drive me crazy, who was I joking.
