for the love of their daddy’s shoes & hats

Because they love their Daddy, his shoes ~
and his hats.
And since Graham had to point to his Daddy’s hat
so did Mason.
Because this is a normal look around here.
They go for his hat & shoes right when he walks in the door.
And because sometimes we like what sissy has better.
Because our facination with that darn hair bow will never end.
She’s rather used to it. You might recall something similar here.
But now, she is taking a stand & saying, “No, No, NO my hair bow, Mae Mae.”
Because this boy thinks his Daddy hung the moon.
And this boy simply loves hats & shoes.
And this girls puts on anything she can find of her Daddy’s when he is gone.
I thought it was only fitting to take these pcitures for him for Father’s Day.  Because there is nothing out of the ordinary about these pictures.  This is the everyday & their Daddy is rather partial to the candid everyday photos.
Inspiration for these photos came from Christina’s idea last year.  Little did I know when I booked marked her post, just how true to life this would be for our nest this year.

Oh funny story someone I know in real life (who didn’t know I had a blog) some how ended up on yours and asked me today if I left a message, she was so cute she was afraid to ask thinking there was no way it was me. Boy, did I surprise her when I told her it was me. Small world

  5. Cute!! Cute! Cute!!
I love the idea of giving your hubby these for fathers day! Our kids grow and change so fast, this is something you will always remember.
We started writing down some of the funny crazy things our little one says. We grab any old scrap of paper we can find and put them in a jar. The latest one is…Daddy, I want to have a hairy butt when I grow up so I can be just like you!! Gotta love a 4 year old. LOL!

  6. Way super cute. You caught them all at great moments. Did it take 50 pics and edits or did you get most of them the first go round.

You know you have a good post when your readers are making sound effects while reading it:)

We are all oooooooohing over here! How absolutely adorable. And I love The Chief’s assortment of hats and shoes. Man after my own heart.

How adorable is it that Mason is obsessed with Maddie’s hair bow? I can’t stand it.
    I love that boy.

Mine will wear anyone else’s shoes. Including Macey’s. Needless to say she is not amused by it.

This post makes me miss you all so much and I hope that we will have the chance to see each other before the end of summer.

You are such a good wife to create this priceless gift for The Chief!
