I was doing a happy dance earlier this month when I saw my mantel from last year on BH&G’s site. There are so many good ideas in the collection, so if you are in need of inspiration head on over. I really do love how they incorporated real, true, mantels this year instead of “catalog home” style mantels. Hands down, that silhouette frame was one of most favorite mantels I’ve done so far.
I’m closing the shop on Monday evening for Fall Break. Well, I’m closing it early so I can get caught up on the orders before we take a Fall break. Plus, if I were being honest here, I cannot walk upstairs without coming down with strings of thread or hot glue strings around my legs. Yes, it’s that bad. *Thankfully* September was truly a rush to experience with all the game day bag orders. I have never in my life been on so many sports websites trying to get the right colors for rosettes & thread for team colors. And to think, the gameday bags were my husband’s idea & I just did a few to test the waters. It just goes to prove that you never know what will happen when you’re willing to take a step out of the norm. Wowza.
All this to say, if you want anything…order before Monday evening. The shop will re-open on the 23rd. I’m looking forward to a break to clean & organize. I love making & creating new things to have in my shop, but I am one messy crafter!
The number one question in my email box here lately, is from my Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins post:
“Where did you find the orange burlap?”
Answer: Hobby Lobby.
fyi, the orange burlap was scraps from my bullentin board project that’s in my sewing/craft room…
Alright…have a great Sunday my sweet friends.
I’m really excited about the next few weeks for this little ‘ole blog. With some fun collabration from others & projects of my own, I’ve got some good stuff lined up. eek!
I’m thinking I’ll open my sidebar back up for sponsors for Nov & Dec. If you’re interested – send me an email:
