You would think after 3 years of practice it would come easy for me to mix girl & boy stuff together. But it doesn’t. I think it’s even harder as the twins have grown older. But in my quest to do a “penny pinching, Martha style, Christ honoring Christmas” (to quote my dear friend Kerry) I remembered my owl I got this past Summer at a thrift store & thought he needed a bow tie. After that, I went through my scrap fabrics & hot glued everything to a large embroidery hoop. And the perfect Christmas decor mix of girl & boy stuff all came together.
She loves sparkle & glitter. Let me just say, when she’s older (like a Grandma age, older) I know in my heart, she’ll be the one wearing sparkled flip flops, bright pink lipstick, rollers in her hair & a tutu underneath her house coat, and loving life. Yep, that will be her without a doubt.
THANK YOU!
