a Chest-R-Desk review

As I’m writing this post, I cannot believe that Thanksgiving is just 2 weeks away.  Gulp.

After all the eating is said & done for Thanksgiving, I naturally start taking inventory of what we need to get the kids for Christmas.  I’m typically a practical shopper for them.  Toys = yes, but also things they need or better yet things that would help our house run more smoothly.

When I was contacted to do a post for Chest-R-Desk, I couldn’t help but be very interested in the desk/chair/storage combo!  Plus that is was all in one unit = a space saver!  As most of you know, I have young kids, ages 6 & 4 year old twins to be exact.  If I were being honest here, we have a little itty bitty white table with 4 itty bitty chairs for them to do their crafts, homework & writing on that they have desperately outgrown!

Chest R Desk is a US company that has come up with a unique product for kids age 3 – 12 that combines a storage unit, chair and desk into one piece of furniture.  As most of you know, storage + a desk is a rare thing.

Speaking from personal experience as a mom of young kids, I can already see that each of my 3 kids would love this desk.  It would also establish a true place to sit & do homework, which has become an every night occurrence in this house.  All 3 of my kids want “their own spot” and this would grant them that wish & be useful in the process. Plus make a perfect & practical Christmas gift for all 3 of them.

You can see more of what this desk can do & the unique way it folds down by watching the video here.
Chest-R-Desk just started a FB page, which I’m sure will be full of pictures & ways to incorporate the Chest-R-Desk into a child’s room very soon.
