My first little award for blogging.
It is from my (CIO) Chief Imagination Officer. AKA as my dear friend, Sebi. My CIO, has so many talents. She is so blessed to be creative, witty, and charming. Yes, you know, that person in your life, that is always gifted with words. Is so darn clever. Can think of a rhyme right there on the spot??? Can be so creative at a drop of a hat. Well…that’s my friend Sebi. Most importantly she is a true mom to 5 beautiful, gorgeous, bright-eyed children. I love being able to peek into her beautiful blog, and watch her children grow. She captures life-milestones in amazing photographs. She has so many gifts & talents. I’m just lucky to know her. I try to absorb her creativity like a sponge.

My next first, is that I have been tagged. By my sweet cousin Maegan. As most of you know, (what all 5 of you) know her by now. She is my go-to gal for blogging troubles, she’s my graphic designer, she’s my partner in the pantry, she’s my family, but most importantly she’s my dear friend is the truest form!
By tagging, I’m suppose to share 7 random things & or weird facts about myself:
1. I have always shared this since I was 4 because that’s when it happened…I truly have rocks in my head! Long story short, two boys were playing/fighting on the playground, kicked some rocks, and my head was so hard that I busted a rock with my head. Several years later, was having headaches in that certain spot. What did the doctor pull out??? You guessed it, ROCKS!
2. I have to have a clean glass to drink from with every meal. You know how some people save their glass & drink from it all day while at home. Nope, not me. Same goes with a clean plate for dessert after a meal. Will not use the same plate.
3. I cannot stand for blinds and or curtains to be messy from the outside or inside. (gosh, this is soooo my mother talking here.) You know, when you open your blinds in the morning, and sometimes they are uneven or the bottom half is closed while the top is open. No way. Not in this house.
4. I hate reaching in to a chip bag when it is almost empty. Yuck. I cut most of the empty chip bag off, and then pour the remaining chips onto my plate.
5. I will not start to cook or bake with anything on the counter. I have to have a clean kitchen to start. Obviously I make it dirty along the way, but cannot cook with dirty dishes in the sink.
6. Speaking of kitchens, I love to cook. But I hate to cook breakfast on a good weather day. It makes me ill. What I mean by a good weather day, like Fall or Spring. When you can drink some coffee on the front porch, go for a stroll, or plant flowers. I would much rather do without breakfast then to cook, and then do dishes. Again, it makes me ill.
7. I never thought I would be sitting here on the sofa, typing on this laptop, with three babies, blogging. If someone were to tell me this 5 years ago I would have laughed. I always thought I would be the working gal. Never, and I mean never, did I think I was going to have kids. It never crossed my mind. Truly.
It is amazing how life changes. How you never know what & where God will take you. I am so glad He had a better plan for me, then I did.
