No, I am not going to the “derby”. I so wish I were. Before kids, when I worked retail, the store would be buzzing with women trying to find the perfect dress, hat, and accessories for the derby. I thought it was always so fun to assist the women who were like me, thrilled at just the thought of going. I used to dream about going. (obviously, still do.) Here is what I would wear if I were going, and if money were no object:
