Yes, the party is over! But we still feel the need to dress or better yet act like there’s a party going on. I promised myself that I would t-t-try my best to keep the house in clean condition for days after the party. Let’s face it, it hadn’t been cleaned this thoroughly since who knows when. Needless to say, that thought went out the window the very next day. We or I should say I, have been thrown a major curve ball in our weekly lives, and I am just going to have to find my groove. Chief’s work schedule has changed dramatically. I know that happens to everyone, and there are many women out there that raise many kids all by their selves. But as for me, I have to find a niche, that will work for all of us. Staying up late to have some computer time, isn’t working …the other night I woke up with the laptop on my lap & drool headed its way. So… is the house still clean, heck – no. All I can say, is thank goodness for leftover cupcakes. Because it immediately became the kiddos & I right after the party. Who needs regular food when you have cupcakes, muffins, and berries -right???
On another silly note. Today is July 25th. Growing up I always remember there being Christmas movies on TV this day. I always thought it was so fun to see Christmas movies in hot, hot, hot, weather. Not to mention the older I got, I loved the fact of watching Christmas movies without worrying what else is there left to do before Christmas arrived. But today, I can’t find one Christmas movie on today. Bummer. I know, I am silly. But I always loved this tradition. So, off I go to find some Christmas DVDs in the basement boxes. So with that being said…
