My long & lean, strong willed, three & a half year old boy. The one who started this Mommy journey for me. The one who introduced me to a world I never knew. He is my source of strength. He’s the one who makes me laugh, run, skip, fight swords, dance for rain, jump in mud puddles, look for pirates, and race cars on the interstate. (not really just pretend.) He is at his best when I let him be free to dress himself and decide what he wants to play. For some reason it is always the half mark in the years that makes me get a lump in my throat. He is so big & so expressive. Even though he can say “Mommy” 500 times in one day, I love hearing him express himself with sentences and paragraphs. And I will never tire of hearing those fast feet go pitter patter down the hall first thing in the morning.
