To be honest, I had to do a taste test before trying this out on the Chief. My Chief is a good, down-home type of guy. He is “no frills”. He loves plain, simple food. Sometimes, I know he thinks this California born & raised girl he married comes up with the craziest concoctions. I love strawberries & cilantro together in a salad, so I thought I would try this combo. This, my friends is delicious.
*I do not own a panini grill. I used our George Foreman Grill for this & as you can see it worked perfectly.*
Take a fresh loaf of French bread or croissants & slice
Slice some fresh Strawberries
a few leaves of fresh Cilantro
spread Nutella on one slice & assemble the above on top
light Butter* for the outside of the bread
Place in panini grill or George Foreman for about 2 minutes. And enjoy right in your own dining room.
