It’s been 5 L-O-N-G years since these toes have touched any beach sand.
Just the above sentence alone stops me in my tracks being that I am a California & water lovin’ girl. But I had a few babies in those 5 years. Not to mention, my husband is not a huge fan of the beach. He is a mountain, lake, camping kind of guy.
But to my surprise he has decided to take us all on a (6+ hr) road trip together to come & see you. You see, I’ve never been to Seaside. I’ve heard from many its a great beach, quaint village, & very family friendly. Which I am sure you are. But I can’t help but wonder if you & my family will have a long history together. You see, I’m that kind of girl. Yea, the one that gets attached to places, things, and well even her clothes. Growing up in my family, we had a one destination spot for our vacation. I secretly still wish we were going there instead, but no way we
