A tall glass of sweet tea, wraparound porches, some rocking chairs, juicy watermelon fried chicken, & of course fireworks are all the best accessories for celebrating July 4th – wouldn’t you agree?
Now…if I could just find a fiddler & a farmhouse that looks like this – I would be set for this coming weekend.

***I didn’t know what I had been missing out on, that places, HOMES & celebrations like this really still do exist, until my friend Kerry gave me this cookbook coffee table book for a gift recently. Now thanks to Kerry, I have seen the *other* side & I can’t.get.enough. I keep leaving the homesites web page up for Chief to see, every time he passes by. He keeps telling me to come back to reality & get a grip.
