Here we go again for week 9 of what I wore. I usually link up with The Pleated Poppy on Wednesdays for her party.
Although, I “get” the total concept behind this party & the party is alot of fun when I have new clothes or I have made something new, sometimes I can’t help but feel rather vain about the whole thing. Nothing against anyone joining the party, because obviously I am here as well. But lately, that is how I’ve been feeling about myself when taking these pictures. Even though I haven’t been consistent, I’m debating whether to do this every week. I feel like I am screaming at everyone to “LOOK AT ME!” And if you know me personally, then you know I am the exact opposite of this. So, I guess I will see how I feel about it this coming week.

I love your big hair, you go girl! the tee is darling with the pink on the collar, really cute re-do. You look really put together, and on the cheap…I mean inexpensive, my BFF always says, “Girl we are not cheap!”
Loving your thriftiness. The put together look is great. Look nice but still comfortable is a good thing in my opinion.

I completely understand what you mean about not wanting to shout, “Look at me!” That’s how I felt the week I did it. But I know I never see the other ladies that participate in that way….I just love looking at their blogs and it makes them seem more real. i failed to mention in this post (i thought i had,) that the only reason why i was wearing that shirt with the rosettes for laundry day, is that everything else was dirty. i hadn’t washed clothes in a week +!
just so everyone knows this is NOT my usual cleaning attire.
i don’t think you’re being vain at all. these blog parties are fun. and you said yourself, participating in it encourages you to dress cuter during the week. it’s so hard to get out of an old tshirt and jeans when you stay at home all day…
plus, i think you dress adorable and i look forward to your “what i wore this week” posts..

Love the second outfit! I enjoy seeing everyone’s outfits — it’s me to gather new ideas for old stuff in my closet. I do feel weird posting sometimes, but that’s why I always include the bad in with the good. I figure it can’t be too vain if I look like crap, right? 🙂
