Meeting a Kindred Spirit & The Country Living Fair

November 5, 2010 by Kellie

I have alwaaaaays wanted to go to a Country Living {Magazine} Fair.  Guess what…I got to go to one about 2 weeks ago!
~plus~
I finally got to meet my kindred spirit Cha Cha.  As in, Sit Relax and Read – Cha Cha!!!  It truly was a wonderful day.  We had been planning a meet up for awhile, looking back now, I don’t know what took us so long.  All I know to say, it that it couldn’t of been more perfect.  We soaked in a cool Fall morning, walked under a bright blue sky with tall trees all around us, surronded by gorgeous inspiration, and we finally got to hug and talk in person.  It was perfect.

Here’s Cha Cha with her dough bowl that she purchased.  It was almost as big as her.
Cha Cha was everything I imagined she would be & much more.  This was the first time for me to meet another blogger, outside of my friends who blog.  But to be honest, I wasn’t nervous at all.  She & I are so much alike in so many ways.  Heck, we even showed up driving the same suburbans in the same color.  Meeting her was one of my highlights for the year.
The only thing I think we don’t have in common is:
Cha Cha has perfect hair.  I mean it’s perfect. I’m so jealous.
I also think I squeal more then she does, my voice is much more high pitched then her’s. 😉

In January, Cha Cha, Lisa & I will be roomies for Blissdom. {Cannot wait!}  I swear, I will take notes on how Cha Cha fixes her hair & share a post when I return.

Sit Relax and Read
most of the photos are taken by me.  I swiped some from Cha Cha’s & the tree photo is from Layla’s blog.
Hello! I’m so glad you’re here & reading my posts! I’ve started truncating my posts, so please click over to read the rest of the story!

I feel like a movie star, perfect hair and all. You captured the day beautifully in pictures and words, exactly the way I want to remember it. I had such a wonderful time and can’t wait to meet back up again in Jan., where I will give you a lesson on my perfect hair, hahahaha. Thank you for this wonderful day and being such a great friend, oh and always knowing how to make me laugh.

How much fun is that???!! I didn’t know that a Country Living Fair even existed. Can you give me some info on it? How wonderful to meet up with a Kindred Spirit for the first time too. A blessing for sure! Have a great weekend Kellie…

I love Cha Cha’s blog. We’ve become “blog friends” by getting to know each other through her Sentimental Sundays link up. My best friend (in real life) wanted me to fly to Coloumbs, OH to attend the fair with her, but I couldn’t and was so disappointed. Looks like you had such a fun time together. It’s neat to find other kindred spirits through blogging.

This looks like so much fun! What in the world were those green and brown wreaths made from? They are so beautiful.
