Hands down, our go-to drink for the Summer is any kind of smoothie. Our blender has permanent residence on our kitchen counter during the Summertime. We use it sometimes twice a day.

It’s a toss-up between fruit & homemade ice cream for our Summer faves. I believe fruit would win the #1 spot, but homemade ice cream would be a close 2nd.

I love all sorts of music. Currently, I’m enjoying more of a acoustic sound. Like the coffee house station on Sirus radio. I’m also a sucker for any movie soundtrack, especially Disney or Pixar. I don’t like listening to the nursery rhythm type of music, that drives me batty. But a good sound track like Cars or Toy Story – I could listen to all day.

My hair & Summertime do not have a good relationship. I have natural curly hair. In the Summer it’s natural big hair. So you’ll find me using a scarf or sunglasses to hold it down 99.9% of the time. I would be lost without them for sure!

For our vacation we went to Tybee Island in Georgia & loved it! We were able to stay in the cottage that Layla & Kevin from The Lettered Cottage designed. It was an extra bonus to stay there – on top of just hanging out on the beach everyday.

And speaking of hanging around…

Yeah, that would be my 3 kiddos. My oldest was so excited to be on the beach – he can hardly contain himself. Uh, who am I kidding…this is what it’s always like around picture time. 😉

As far as summer reading…I’m not a big book reader. I haven’t read a book since the twins were born. It’s just something I don’t do. When I’m idle, I fall asleep. Now, magazines are a completely different story! I could get lost in the pictures. Give me a good home decor, gossip, or Instyle mag, some chips & dip and I’ll be set for the afternoon.
