Insta-Friday

Can you believe it’s {almost} Friday, and the 4th is around the corner?  Such a fun weekend ahead.  I truly cannot wait!

If you are new around here, Insta-Fridays is a link party that I absolutely love.  It’s the easiest link party there is…it’s pictures from your cell phone about real, true life.  – Imagine.  If you happen to have all those fun addicting apps, well, that makes the post even more fun.  But all cell phone pics are welcome.  Just quick glimpses of moments in time from your week.

So here we go…

It finally happened.  The stars aligned & the galaxy of root rot has been filled in.  Glory be.

And just because I love him so, here is the miracle worker himself, my hairdresser.  AKA as a dear friend for 19 years.  He’s the only one who can calm this big hair down.   He also has many a stories he could tell about me, but the best part – he still remains one of my closest friends after all of that.  I’m bursting with fun memories of us as I type.  Good stuff.

Now, let’s go about a half mile down the road from our house…to one of my favorite churches – ever.

Yep, they have a community garden, flowers ga-lore, and people who love for you to stop by with a car load of kids.  So they can come & explore the gardens.  We truly do live in a wonderful neighborhood.  Did I mention the church bells ring every half hour and we can hear them from the house?  It’s just wonderful to hear.  There’s no place like the South when it comes to churches on every corner.  This church is becoming a part of our family, you can see what I mean by going here.

This next photo, was an accident.  Well Madi hit the button, but I simply love it.  Yes, that would be Mason on my back, “relaxing” as he says.

this is my signature look for the Summer, just so you know.  There’s nothing better than a big scarf to hold down some big, humid, Summer hair – with no roots, I might add.  😉
