Here’s some quick glimpses of our week:
Last weekend we went to visit my in laws~
This below pic, cracks me up looking back on it. 
Our dog, Shady & I had a run in with a yellow jackets’ nest.  OMWord!  It was my first time to be stung by bees.   I asked for suggestions on my facebook page of what I should do, because all sorts of side effects were starting to happen & thankfully so many of you told me to get some help.  So after a trip to the ER, a shot, meds & 2 days in bed ordered by the docs – I was going
 CR-AAAA-ZY!
I’m not the kind of person who can sit still.  So…I did what any blogger would do…I pinned on pinterest like crazy, read blogs & dreamed of a few good home makeovers while I dozed away the pain medicine.  😉
Who knew one person could have so many side effects to bee stings?
As for our awesome dog – there’s no telling how many times he got stung trying to snap them away from me.  My husband took him to the vet & then he had a day at the beauty shop, because he deserved the royal treatment.
I am happy to report – I am much better now after all the bee drama.
We had a birthday party this past week.  Most of you have seen the regular post, but here’s 3 pics I took of the twins’ Christmas in July Birthday party on instagram.  Such a fun party & great day!
Speaking of those kiddos…

It’s always a 3 ring circus around here with big brother as the ring master.  You never know what the day will hold.  All I know, is that I’m constantly reminded that kids just love simple things.  A bedtime story, a picnic on a blanket while they watch a movie, or give them old Halloween costumes & they can play for hours in an imaginary world.  It’s been one roller coaster week around here, but through it all these little guys were troopers.

Here’s hoping for a calmer week ahead.

  5. Stopping by from Life Rearranged… I love that you have a pic of biscuits (or are they cookies??) being cut. Mmmmmm. I was feeling the biscuit photo too, only mine were already baked and they came with chicken tenders. 🙂

  9. Love Christmas in July…Love it!! The bees on the otherhand…boo:( My husband found out the hard way that he’s deathly allergic to wasps…be careful out there!
