Party Ice Cubes

December 11, 2014 by Kellie

Y’all.  It doesn’t take much for me.

Seriously…it’s always been about the little details that make all the difference.

Yesterday I shared how I made the fastest Tinsel Stir Sticks and today, I’m keeping up the holiday party theme with these party ice cubes!  I’m sure you all have seen some on pinterest.  They’re so cute & clever!

I just happened to think the other day though, that I hadn’t seen one of my favorite combos together in an ice cube form = pure tragedy!

But not anymore!!!

Such an easy DIY! Make your Holiday Drinks Festive! Pomegranate & Orange Ice Cubes & DIY drink sticks
So I thought why not???  Combine my favorite Pomegranate (POM POMS) and some zest from an orange or a cutie.  We always have those on hand, and they make the perfect amount if you have more than one over for a Sassy Ice Cube Drink!

Fun, easy & cheap ways to make your parties festive

Those little cups of the POM POM seeds already cut out are SO perfect for this project.  If you have a zester, by all means use it!!!  I just couldn’t find mine in our recent move & living in the land of cardboard right now.  😉

They are so fun to make for parties.  Everyone will remember these cute details.

Fun DIYs to add to your holiday parties!

My kids love them in their chocolate milk or orange juice.  Again, it’s the little things even in the morning before school starts to make their day start off on the right foot.  Now, please note – this doesn’t happen often in our house.  Usually we’re pulling into school on 2 wheels while the kids are eating breakfast in the car – I mean…let’s be real.  But sometimes when I’ve had enough sleep I’ll get up & do something special for them.
