For Sale by Owner – our very 1st home

It’s bittersweet, to be honest.

Our very 1st home.

I brought 3 babies home to this house.

And it will forever be in my heart as our first home we fell in love with.

But we have finally put it on the market as For Sale by Owner.

I know all 2,291 sq. feet of it.  I’m sure at one point every square foot had some sort of glitter dropped on it.  But of course it’s all clean now.  I know the sounds this house makes in the middle of the night, because I was up working the graveyard shift with my 3 babies, crafting, editing pics and blogging.

 

Our street happens to be one of the prettiest streets in Chattanooga.  It’s filled with mature trees, blooming dogwoods and the Azalea bushes are literally on fire with their gorgeous colors.

 

It’s 1925 Sears Catalog home.  Wrapped in thick base boards and beautiful crown molding.  The fireplace is centered by 2 stained glass windows, and the hardwood floors are throughout the entire home.

Back in the early 70’s(?) they opened up the house, and tore down walls.  It looks like Chip & Joanna Gaines worked their magic in here.  Which happens to be very rare for a house this old.

 The front porch is probably one of the home’s best accessories, if you ask me.  For some reason, sweet tea is sweeter out here.  It’s a great Southern porch that gladly welcomes any guest with open arms.

I hesitated sharing this link, but like ALL of us who have ever tried to sell their house, we are going through all the nerves and emotions of trying to sell it.  We just listed it a few days ago and we would love to see it go to a family that will love her, like we do and always will.
