Pumpkin Butter Goat Cheese with Bacon Appetizer

Well, Hello my dear friends. I thought it would only be fitting to kick off our “unofficial start” of Fall with a pumpkin recipe. With September’s arrival and the start of college football this weekend this Pumpkin Butter Goat Cheese with Bacon Appetizer seemed like the perfect thing to make.

First off, with bacon in it how can it be wrong, right? The bacon with the pumpkin butter is simply a delicious combination. It will remind you of a sweet & savory combination like bacon & maple syrup on a cool Saturday morning.

This pumpkin butter goat cheese with bacon appetizer is the perfect combination of both sweet & savory, along with hints of delicious Fall flavors.

***I doubled this recipe for this past weekend.*** We had company over to watch our beloved Tennessee VOLS and adding another goat cheese log was easy as can be. My husband loves this dip on RITZ crackers. Our friends loved it on pumpkin bread, and personally I loved it any way I could get it!

Pumpkin Butter Goat Cheese with Bacon Appetizer

Ingredients

1 goat cheese log
1/3 - 1/2 cup of pumpkin butter
2-3 slices of crumbled cooked bacon
2 TABLESPOONS of chopped green onions
1 TABLESPOON of chopped pistachios
crackers or bread for dipping or spreading

Instructions

Place your goat cheese on a serving tray or plate.
Drizzle your pumpkin butter over the goat cheese
Sprinkle your bacon, pistachios, and green onions on top of your pumpkin butter.
Serve & enjoy!
