Gingerbread Village Printable Wreath

November 17, 2018 by Kellie

Hello, my name is Kellie and I’m addicted to paper crafts.  I love paper!  I love all the fonts and prints on paper, and creating things with printables happens to be one of my favorite things to do.  So I had a fun idea to create this Gingerbread Village Printable Wreath, and let my daughter have fun with it and decorate it for her bedroom door.

She’s 10 years old, and was able to do all the cutting and placement on her own.  Perfection isn’t required for this adorable Gingerbread Village Printable Wreath, and that’s one of the many things I love about it.

As you can see in the close up pictures, she trimmed around some parts, and other areas she cut closely.  My main goal was to let her run with it, and give her a creative project to work on for the weekend.  We also used the .88 cent mini Christmas trees from WalMart along with faux cotton snow.  That of course, she added a few sprinkles of glitter using ModPodge Glue.  We allowed the wreath to dry over night before hanging it on her door.

The wreath itself, was from an after Christmas sale last year, that I believe I got for $3.00.  I love the fact of offering something different to use as a “canvas” and let her imagination run.

I love how the mini Christmas trees added a 3-D effect to the wreath – without us even trying!  It’s really fun in person, and the trees give the wreath a lot of depth!  Which is so fun.

We used hot glue to attach both the printable village and the mini trees.  I thought about using mini clothespins, but for a $3 wreath – I wasn’t worried about reusing it in the future.  Obviously, these printables below can be used for anything you can think of.  I just thought they would look adorable on a wreath.

It’s so happy looking when I look at her door, and I love that she made it all on her own!

This printables are for personal use only.
I recommend using a thicker card stock when printing – so they’ll hold up well on your wreath form.
