Guess what???

I’m in Maine today!  I’ve never been to Maine before.  Well, maybe I should be a little more clear…I’m guest posting at Creative Kristi who happens to live in Maine.  Ha!

She graciously invited me to take part in her series:

It’s a month long series devoted to blogging 101 tips & ideas you can use to build your blog.  I’ve been blogging for almost 3 years & I still have tons to learn!  So head on over to Kristi’s to feel the love & to find out a few of the reasons why I changed my blog name & shop name.

Btw, did any of you notice I moved my shop from etsy over to big cartel?  Well, truth be told, I’m keeping my etsy shop, at least for a little while, but my shop is now mainly in the hands of the big cartel peeps.  Even though, I love etsy & all that it stands for & the many thousands of creative vendors on that site, it just made sense to do the switch.  Bottom line, etsy charges a listing fee & selling fee.  The fees were getting larger & larger every month.  It was getting harder & harder to hand over the money that I earned to pay those monthly fees.  Can I get an “amen?” 😉  Big Cartel just charges a flat monthly fee.  All this to say, we shall see how it goes, because one never knows about all this stuff until they do it themselves & submit to taking a risk.
 
And I’ll be the first to say, I do believe I’m taking a risk. 😉 eek!

P.S.  Does anyone else think of Tony Soprano when you hear the name Big Cartel?
