instagramming through Savannah

May 18, 2011 by Kellie

We spent the day touring sweet Savannah & I’m in love with all the Southern Charm it had to offer.  We even managed to squeeze in for lunch at Paula Deene’s The Lady & Sons’ resturant.  We all had the carbohydrate special, which was the buffet.  Needless to say, it did not disappoint.  Of all the days, I decide to wear a belt.  It came off immediately after I finished eating, because I didn’t even want to pretend to hold in my stomach.  Why spoil a good meal with a belt on anyway???  😉
p.s. – For the record, I think that Paula Deene’s Gooey Cake is one of the best cakes that I’ve ever.tasted.in.my.whole.entire.life. – amen & amen.

Savannah is one of my most favorite places on Earth. I am dying to get back there. It’s been a year since our last trip and I’m having major withdrawls.

I hope this doesn’t come off as braggy, but I’ve been on numerous vacations. But of all the places I’ve been none look as inviting as Savannah. I have always wanted to go there and just haven’t done it. My sister-in-law is from Ga and I hope to take a trip there w/ her one day. It looks so quaint. Great post and I love instagram!

You must go to River Street Sweets and try a warm praline! You can taste the butter in them. Yum Yum!!
