Pray for the South

April 28, 2011 by Kellie

picture of our downtown area.  taken from a friend.

We are thankfully safe & our home is as well.  However, there are so many that have lost so much.  Particularly in Alabama.  My heart goes out to all those who are suffering from yesterday’s events.  There are no words.

I have placed Bag Full of Posies in vacation mode, because we have no power & probably wont have power for days.  Hope to be back soon!

BE SAFE!

So glad to see that you’re okay. That’s an amazing photo. I know how miserably hot it is without electricity. Sending prayers for all concerned.

I have a friend in Huntsville who I am concerned about.

Our company closed the Alabama office today because the employees are unable to get to work due to the storm damage.

Sending best wishes to my southern friends.

I am in Madison, AL. We are one in the same with Huntsville. The storms were awful. So glad you and your crew were safe through all that madness. My family was spared too. I tried to be thankful for a house left standing and not be fussy about the power…but I have to say, when I was able to blow dry my hair again I caught myself grinning from ear to ear! My husband enjoyed camping and being he-man griller. He said our neighborhood remionded him of the 1950’s with all the bikers and neighborly chit chatting. Your picture gave me goose bumps!
