Vacation Photo Dump #visitnewportbeach

September 4, 2012 by Kellie

It’s hard to put into words of what this vacation meant to me.

thrilled.  blessed.  down right giddy.  tearful.  overwhelmed.  silly.  memorable.  once in a lifetime.
honored.  kid in a candy store.

There’s so rhyme or reason in how I dumped these photos, there’s a lot!  All I know is that this was a vacation full of sensory & visual overload.  So grateful am I.

My heart is full.  We experienced a once in a lifetime trip.  Still can’t believe that I won this trip.  It was completely amazing.  I’m overwhelmed with a grateful heart.  Many thanks to #visitNewportBeach for offering such an incredible giveaway, the Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach for our hotel stay & Izea.com for promoting the event & working with me to extend our stay & add a 5th person.

Our flight was perfect, the layover & time of flight were so fast.  The Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach is beyond amazing.  Most of the main buildings on the grounds are open – air or have extreme large open doors to allow the breeze to blow in.  At night the fire pits were all aglow, jazz playing in the background & a delicious mix of  hors d`oeuvres were being served.  All under a cool Orange County Sky.  The room was a perfect set up for us being a family of 5.  A comfortable king size bed with lots of pillows, along with double size bunk beds.  The kids were in heaven.  3 pools & all sorts of kids activities just waiting on us to pick which one to attend.  And for the record, my husband & I are still taking about the breakfast/brunch that was served to us every morning.  Brie, salmon, a yogurt bar ~ just to name a *few* items.

Everyday while I was there, I prayed the days would last as long as they possibly could & I believe they did.  In case you missed my other posts, we were able to visit family, Disneyland, the beaches of orange county & surrounding areas.  It was awesome.  All the pictures above are either from Newport Beach area or Laguna Beach via my favorite spots, shops & eateries.

All pictures are mine, except for the pier, fun zone & life guard tower.

I’m social as can be!  Are you?  Follow along if you like.

What a great trip. I’ve lived in Orange County my entire life and suppose I take this stuff for granted…heck we go to Disneyland once a week…I need to appreciate it more, but I don’t know any different. 🙂 Glad Orange County treated you and your family well!
