Our little retreat went by way too quickly as it always does when we are visiting my parents. Besides the fact that it was at least 8* degrees cooler then what we are used to, there is something to be said about the feeling of being calm, cool, & collective. That is the feeling & emotion I always have when I get to go home. Knowing that there are more eyes to watch, more hands to hold, more attention to be given. It is a mental & physical retreat. One I wish I could have more often. Mom’s flower gardens are also a retreat for my eyes, along with her home cooked meals for my tummy. Good Stuff.
