Ok ~ first let me explain this post…you see, Cha Cha (you know one of my bffs, whom I have yet to meet, but still a bff) has been doing this link party with THE PLEATED POPPY. I totally liked the idea of doing it for all the same reasons Cha Cha is doing it for. (you see, we tend to think alike – ALOT!) So finally, I’m joining in.
1st reason ~ to document & *hopefully* shed some pounds away, because I’ve gained too much!
2nd reason ~ to dress less frumpy.
Goodness gracious I’ve gotten in a terrible rut of wearing t-shirts & shorts every.single.day. Not that that is bad, it’s just b-o-r-i-n-g! I do love my comfy shorts & t-shirts, but I think the entire nest would appreciate a little change. So here goes:
My outfit to run around town ~ as in errands, shopping & drs. appts.
white tunic top – my absolute favorite purchase this Summer @ Target $19.99!!! *did you see the detail of the tunic around the sleeves & hem? LOVE. Also comes in 3 different colors.*
turquoise necklace – Goodwill .99 cents. yep, you read that right.
headband scarf {yellow & turquoise} – vintage Ann Taylor
cropped jeans – Gap
I wore this above outfit twice. (but just for 2 hours each time)- shh! don’t tell.

***what I’ve learned so far from this little experiment – I only have 1 full length mirror in this house. I have to back myself up into a small corner to take these full length pics & it looks so silly to me in these pics. I am wearing alot of white these days & outside of my favorite khaki & green shorts – I wear jeans all the time.***
