These next 30 days I’m holding on tight. Holding everyday & doing my best to savor every moment.
In 30 days these two become 2 years olds. Still babies but that word “toddler” comes into play. Toddler(s) isn’t a bad word in my book, but I love the word “babies” a whole lot more. I love being a mom to babies. I, like all of you want time to slow down. I love all the stages that they have already grown through, but by far just having 2 babies is my favorite most of all. I still can’t get over that God picked me/us to have twins. It is a privilege that I am humbled by everyday.
You will never hear me say that these first years were a breeze, because they weren’t. It is so hard having double everything, double messy, double clean-up, but I am grateful for it all. Sometimes, I still can’t quite grasp the fact that I had 2 babies inside me at one time. I am the girl who loved being pregnant. I loved every moment of carrying these babies inside of me.
I loved the fact that I was carrying a boy. Who I knew would be tender in every way that he is now.
And I loved that I was carrying a little girl. Who I knew would be the light in every boy’s eye in this Nest.
So pardon me this month as I hold on to everyday as tight as I can. Holding on to these sweet days of these 2 being babies and embracing the idea of moving on to the next stage. Documenting & posting maybe a little bit more about them while they are still in this stage, then any other topic this month. Holding on to these moments that will go by so quickly, but knowing that everyday is a true gift from Heaven.
