It’s…rosette fabric tulle netting!

Because many have asked about these sweet little shirts, I thought I would try to gather/take some pics, to show you just how easy it is to make!  It is always a thrill for me to receive some love, questions, or comments especially on something I made.  I think emails or comments are one of the highest compliments you can give & I love receiving them. So thanks for all those who have asked you made my week! *More on that email comment stuff on the next post.*

This little photo above was in this post  a couple weeks back & what started all the emails.  4 supplies is all that you will need, and 5 minutes of your time.  It is that easy! Scissors, trim, glue, & shirt.

Here it is.  The rosette fabric tulle netting.  They sell the rosette netting by the yard at Hobby Lobby.  It is $5.99 a yard.  If you sign up on their web page, you can get a coupon for 40% off.

While you are there, pick up some fabric glue.  (The best stuff ever invented.) And of course, get whatever shirt you want to attach the rosette trim too.  This one that I made today, for a gift – was $1.50 red tag @ Target.  I kid you not!  Shh. my neighbor might be reading this, her little girl is the soon to be owner of this pink on pink fluff! 🙂

If you have never used this glue, it is easy.  It goes on white, but dries clear.  Once I glue the rosette trim on the shirt(s) I hang up to dry for 24 hours before wearing. *read the directions on the back for wash instructions, pertaining to the glue.*  I will also say, I only tumble dry these shirts for 10 minutes, then I take them out to hang dry.  Just because the rosette trim *might* fray more then what it is already suppose to be.  Trust me, the trim has held up nicely.  And I have used alot of this trim.

Here is a pic of my & Madi’s {somewhat} matching shirts in thermal cotton.  I love thermal!  As you can see on Madi’s I made a cluster with the rosette trim.  Endless possibilities, I tell ya!

And finally, here is the little rosette herself – with yes, a rosette hair clip & the now little {famous} heart shirt.  She makes this stuff look even cuter –  in my opinion. 😉
