Ideas for our Block Party - Nest of Posies

My friend & neighbor Shannon & I are throwing a Block Boo Bash!!! Fall is such a great time to throw a party. Especially an outdoor one. So much natural beauty to use for decor. We are keeping our fingers crossed for no rain. I am so excited, I love the planning & creating stages almost more then the actual party. Thought I would share just a couple of our ideas so far:

Planning & hoping on making two pumpkin topiaries for the Boo Bash. Has anyone ever made one before? How do they stay in place? Do you have to poke a stick through each one? I would love any suggestions!!!!

I have made these before, but not in a huge quantity. But I would love to have these for the party! Hope I can do it!

We are having a chili & cornbread bar. 3 different types of chili. White bean, veggie, & traditional. Different cornbread flavor as well. Yum. Such a traditional Fall fave. Don’t you think?

We have alot more tricks up our sleeve, and can’t wait to share them. You know, I have my hot glue gun out, just ready to start creating. (I think I need a hip holster for my glue gun. 🙂 I am signing off early this week, because I’ve got to get busy…Happy Weekend to all!
