September

As most know, I am a seasonal kind of gal. I love it. I love it. I love it. Usually on September 1st I start getting the Fall decor out. Oranges, Greens, Purples, Golds, Browns, I can’t wait to see the colors of Fall. We are starting to show a lot of signs that Fall is around the corner here in the South. I can’t wait. All this being said, this weekend one of my favorite “seasonal decor” type movies came on this weekend. I couldn’t help but be paste to the tv (for a few moments) and look at the decor of this grand house, and all the seasons they go through in this movie. Needless to say, my heart starting beating a little faster, and my mind started thinking of Fall. The movie was Stepmom. I am sure most will agree they have the best type of Fall, Thanksgiving, and Christmas scenes ever in a movie. Here is a few glimpses inside the house.

There are so many movies that I go nuts over their decor or the scenery. Whether it’s modern, country, urban, you name it…I appreciate a movie with a good “theme” carried through-out the entire show. This movie had perfect timing this weekend for me. (although, I just caught glimpses of it here & there.) It started stirring my creative side or shall we say gave me some “inspiration” to make some new things.

So just curious…what is your favorite movie for the decor or scenery? What movie has inspired you to decorate??? Which one stops you in your tracts and makes you swoon over? Would love to hear your favorites. Please, do tell.
