This is obviously the before. Prior to the news we were expecting twins, this was our tv room. It is a typical size bedroom, but when we purchased this house the previous owners had taken the door off, and widen the entry way. It really was like a small bonus room with great windows & great light all day long. Ronnie & our fabulous BIL Dennis closed the wall back in, and we added a door. 
As you can see this room (along with the house) has great bones. Hardwood floors, great windows, & molding. What one might expect from an almost 100 year old house! = no kidding.
This is the fabric. I love it. It is just yummy. I picked this circus themed fabric, because I thought it would work for both boy & girl. Also, I loved the accent fabrics. The stripes & the fun bubbles. Now, the rest of this story & pictures is totally & entirely because of my wonderful & talented mom who did every bit of the sewing for every fabric piece you see in this post. I am lucky to have her as a mother. And I am very fortunate to have her for her talent. I can’t imagine doing everything for the bedding Xs two! But she did, and we are so grateful to her.
I found the circus themed prints on eBay. Yep, got all 6 of them for $9.99. And I am so proud. They worked so well in their room, and flow great with the fabric.
The double window. It was the last & final valance to go up. It gave my mom such troubles, but as always she did it. I will also brag on her, she made the pattern in her head. The valance is made to look more like an awning. So it extends out. Not sure if you can tell in the photos. The double dresser was given to us by some dear friends. They have given us so many things. We are so grateful!

I love walking in this room. It is so bright & airy. I love seeing Mason & Madison in their bed even more. They are still sleeping in the same crib for now. They are growing so fast that now we put them head to head.
Hello, lover. That’s my fabulous gift from the Chief. My double nursing chair. Oh, yes it reclines all the way back, swivels, & rocks. I love it. Thanks, Chief. I almost forgot to mention, this fabulous find my mother found at a garage sale, a pastel, chenille, oval, rug for $10.00. It is a little piece of heaven.
