I miss her already. She is a dear friend. I love & appreciate her for so many reasons. She has my back & have hers, literally.
I must admit I was a little worried how she would be visiting a house with newborn twins & a toddler, but as always Leah can adapt to any situation with a smile & lots of giggles. We met about 8 years ago when we both worked at Ann Taylor. We became friends immediately. She has now moved on to bigger & brighter green pastures for herself = Nashville. We call & text very often, but we don’t get to see each other as much as we would like. So I always look forward to her visits. She is one of my friends who I don’t always have to say ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ to. She gets it, & she gets me. If my back is aching from lifting that triple stroller, she is there lifting it for me. She even changed diapers, and held either baby almost the entire weekend. Which was such a treat for me. Ronnie & Graham went to Granny’s & Poppy’s for the weekend. So it was Leah, the twins, & myself.
We basically just camped out in the living room. Looking at Fall festival magazines,(anything pertaining to Fall decor), caught up on watching the Hills, Project Runway, & some other show about young boys selling million dollar estates. = can’t remember the name. We went shopping, ate, changed a lot of diapers, laughed, I nursed, giggled, & had some lattes. I love Leah, she always brings such great treats from where she works. She is always so supportive, & non-judgemental, she loves my 3 babies, & I so enjoyed showing them off to her. She holds my hand when we enter Anthropologie together (our fave), she can show me how to do stuff on the computer, she can finish any project for me, and most of the time she can finish a sentence for me when I can’t focus enough to do so. She’s a true friend in every way, I am lucky to have her in my life. The house is always happier when she comes to visit. Please come back soon, Leah. We miss you! xoxo
THANK YOU!
