Holiday Home Tour

December 13, 2010 by Kellie

It’s hard to believe that a year has passed since I linked up to The Nester’s Holiday Tour. That was my second link party that I ever did. MY.OH.MY. what a difference a year can make.
For many of my readers, these pictures are a repeat…but to you first timers…hello! Nice to meet you.
I thought we would start at the beginning of the decorating. The prep work along with a few added helpers. My helpers, who by the way…helped me realized that I didn’t need to be perfect with the decor. Because they loved it no matter what.

Here’s our tree:

Here’s some of my sentimental favorites ornaments:

Here’s our whimsy mantel:

The Twins’ Room:

Our Hallway:

Now we’ve come full circle.
TODAY ~ this is how our tree looks:

It’s still standing. *Thank goodness!* A little re-arranged, but still there.

Hands down, this has been the funnest year to decorate. The kids enthusiasm alone, could keep me decorating up until the end. But…I’ve chosen to stop decorating for the rest of this year. These priceless moments with the kids are passing by far too quickly.

I just want to sit back & watch it all unfold.

Hello! I’m so glad you’re here & reading my posts! I’ve started truncating my posts, so please click over to read the rest of the story!
THANK YOU!

Love it!! I know what you mean about the kids and their excitement!! I have a 3 and 1 year old and they blew me away this year with their helping hands and decorating skills!!!! I have done really good about not fretting if a ball gets broken or the tree not being all perfect! =) And they have done good by keeping the tree standing with only 10 broken balls! =) Love them!! I can only see it getting better and better each year!!
