introducing my new assistant

I’m not sure what her name will be yet, and obviously she has some modesty issues, but we’re working on that.  I’m sure some of you will think I’ve lost it, but I’m rather proud to be an owner of a dress form.  I found her on ebay, and after much searching, I think she was a great price.  They said she’ll work any shift, especially the graveyard shift, which as you know, is what I work.  I needed someone who was willing to work with me whenever I called on her & would look good in anything.  Which, is not easy.  😉
You know, here lately all these big time bloggers have been talking about hiring an assistant, or having virtual blogging help.  Well, now I can say I have an assistant willing to do whatever I ask & not talk back.  If only I could train her to clean out my email account & change a few diapers…we would really have something going!
In the meantime….
I’m making her a few accessories to model.  Which will hopefully be listed in the shop by the end of the week.  Stripes, grays & pumpkin hues…oh my! And maybe a few other colors.

  1. Oh, man! I know I shouldn’t be jealous, but i SO am!! 🙂 I have just started looking for a dress form and so far had no luck. I want to use her at the Farmer’s Market. Congrats!!! She is a perfect addition. 🙂

  8. I am so jealous! I want a dress form so bad, and I don’t even have a real need for it, it’s just something I’ve wanted for a long time. I recently found one for $45 and I don’t know if that’s a good or bad deal, so I didn’t buy it.
